We bet you can list tons of good reasons to make your own bath and body care products. Here are our top FOUR:

  1. More control over what you put onto your body
  2. Purchasing from smaller distributors who can verify the origin of their products and their good manufacturing practices, is a simple yet powerful action to keep our world and economy green
  3. Everyone loves handmade!
  4. You're keeping it REAL! There's nothing worse than buying "aromatherapy body lotion" only to open it and discover the aroma is powdery or perfumy (i.e., fake). Rose is one of the worst offenders. Think about it. You know what fake rose smells like, right? It's like ... what's the point! After all, aromatherapy is the use of aromas for their healing properties. For aromatherapy to be effective, the aromatherapy essential oils used should be from sources properly cultivated, harvested, distilled, packaged, and stored (and organic if possible). Your nose can tell the difference, your body can tell the difference, and so can your friends and family!

In the spirit of the season, here's a little gift from us to you ... our Relaxing Holiday Bath Salts recipe! These aromatic bath salt can help relax muscles, reduce stress, and add a little pleasure back into the bathing experience. They make great seasonal gifts, too!
