Learn about five incredible Black women who are making a difference in the field of holistic wellness.

Dr. Nicole Betschman, ACHS Professor and Integrative Health and Wellness Chair, honored the achievements of Black scientists and scholars throughout STEM history while also discussing those who are currently making moves in our Black History Month webinar. She also spoke about people who are currently making a difference in the holistic wellness field, and we want to highlight them here on the blog. 1. Chelsea Loves Yoga

Dr. Chelsea Jackson Roberts is the founder of Chelsea Loves Yoga. She is a certified yogi, educator, cover model and doctor who runs a yoga and literacy curriculum for Atlanta-area youth organizations. She provides trainings for yoga practitioners, educators, community leaders, activists and students and encourages cultivating community through yoga.

2. Black Girl In Om

Black Girl In Om is part publication, part facilitator of yoga and holistic experiences throughout the country. Co-founded by Lauren Ash, it is an organization devoted to promoting holistic wellness and self-care for women of color. It offers meditation and a 28-day Intention and Alignment.

3. Food Heaven Made Easy

Food Heaven Made Easy was co-founded by Wendy and Jess, who are both Registered Dieticians. They started the web series where they demonstrate how to cook nutrient dense, delicious and affordable plant-based recipes while providing scientifically sound nutrition information. They are also the creators of the 28-Day Plant Powered Health Reboot Cookbook.

4. Millana Snow

Millana is an entrepreneur, philanthropist and Reiki healer. She empowers and supports others to heal themselves by expanding consciousness in their everyday lives and offers online Har meditation and digital energy reports.

5. Ciarra Ross

Ciarra is a doula, Reiki healer and writer. She created a virtual space that enhances holistic health through both spiritual and emotional healing. She calls for for more restorative, healing spaces for those who have experienced generational oppression, abuse, poverty and exploitation.
